MBBS in Germany

Germany doesn't typically offer MBBS programs; instead, medical education follows a different path. Students pursue the "Doctor of Medicine" (MD) degree, requiring a six-year program, including preclinical and clinical studies. Admission is highly competitive, and proficiency in German is usually required. International students may need to complete a preparatory course (Studienkolleg) and pass the TestDaF or DSH language exams. After graduation, doctors complete a residency and may specialize further.
